Q.1) Solve any Five  (5)       
1) ∆ABC  ~ ∆XYZ. If ∠A = 45o. Find ∠X.
2) ∆ABC ∠B = 90o. AC = 5, AB = 4. Find BC.
3) In ABC PQ || BC. If AP:PB = 5:7 find AQ:QC
4) Find slope of line having inclination of 30o.
5) Draw a segment BC of length 5cm and bisect it.
6) Find slope of point (3,4) and (2,1)

Q.2) Solve any Four  (8)
1) In the figure point Q is on the side MP such that MQ = 2 and MP = 5.5. Ray NQ is the bisector of  ∠MNP. Find MN:NP.
2) Check whether 12,35,37 are sides of right angled triangle.
3) Find the length of altitude of an equilateral triangle each side measuring a units
4) Check whether following points are collinear P(1,-2),  Q (2,-1) and R (3,0)
5) Draw a circle of radius 3.4cm. Take a point K on the circle and draw tangent using centre.
6) Find equation of line passing through P(-3,-7) and m = 1/2

1) In the adjoining figure, ∠LMN = 90o and ∠LKN = 90o, MK LN. Prove that R is the midpoint of seg MK.
2) Prove Basic Proportionality-theorem.
3) Draw; the circumcircle of PMT in which PM = 5.4 cm, ∠P = 60°, ∠M = 70°.
4) Draw a circle with centre P and radius 5.1 cm. Draw a chord MN of length 5.8 cm. Draw tangents to the circle through points M and N.
5) Find k if PQ||RS where P(2,4) Q(3,6) R(8,1) and S (10,k)

Q.4. Solve any Two  (8)
1) Find equation of line passing through (2,-1) and parallel to 3x + 4y = 10
2) Draw a tangent to the circle with centre ‘O’ and radius 5.5 cm from a point A such that d(O, A) = 7.5 cm. Measure the length of tangent segments.
3) Prove that sum of squares of sides of rhombus is equal to sum of squares of their diagonals.
