    1. Find slope of line having inclination of 45o.
2. Draw a segment BC of length 5.5 cm and bisect it.
3. Find slope of point (4,1) and (3,7)

1. Check whether following points are collinear P(-7,8),  Q (-5,2) and R (3,6)
2. Draw a circle of radius 3.4cm. Take a point K on the circle and draw tangent using centre.
3. Find equation of line passing through P(0,6) and m = 6/7

1. Construct the circumcircle of ∆ SIM in which SI = 6.5 cm., ∠ I = 1250, IM = 4.4 cm.
2. Draw a circle of radius 5.5 cm. Take ‘any point K on it. Draw a tangent to the circle at K without using centre of the circle. 
3. Find k if (-3,11)(6,2) and (k,4) are collinear.

Chapter No. 3;  Linear Equations with two variables.

1. Solve by graphical method :  x + 2y =5; y = -2x -2 (3m)

2. Solve by Cramer’s rule. 3x+2y+11=0; 7x – 4y = 9. (3m)

3. Find value of k for which the given equations have infinitely many solutions. Kx – y + 3-k =0; 4x – ky + k = 0. (3m)

4. Sum of two numbers is 97. If the larger number is divided by the smaller, the  quotient is 7 and the remainder is 1. Find the numbers. (3m)

5. Students of a school were made to stand in rows for drill. If 3 students less were  standing in each row, 10 more rows were required and if 5 students more were standing  in each row then the number of rows was reduced by 10. Find the number of students  participating in the drill. (4m)

6. Solve 27/x-2 + 31/y+3 = 85;  31/x-2 + 27/y+3 = 89   (4m)

SSC Paper Algebra

Chapter No. 3  Linear Equations with two variables.

1. Solve by graphical method :  4x = y -5; y = 2x + 1. (3m)

2. Solve by Cramer’s rule. 3x + y = 1; 2x = 11y + 3. (3m)

3. Find value of k for which the given equations have infinitely many solutions. Kx – y + 3-k =0;           4x – ky + k = 0. (3m)

4. The perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 24cm. The length of its congruent sides is  13cm less than twice the length of its base. Find the lengths of all sides of the  triangle. (3m)

5. A boat takes 6 hours to travel 8 km upstream and 32 km downstream, and it takes  7 hours to travel 20 km upstream and 16 km downstream. Find the speed of the  boat in still water and the speed of the stream. (4m)

6. Solve 1/3x + 1/5y = 1/15;  1/2x + 1/3y = 1/12 (4m)
